How long does it take?
A backsplash takes 1–2 days. A full bathroom tile job usually takes 5–10 days including prep, waterproofing, setting, grouting and cure time.

What can go wrong with tile — and how we prevent it
- An uneven substrate. Tile amplifies every dip. We flatten the floor and use the right backer board before setting.
- Missed or failed waterproofing. A shower without a proper membrane leaks. We waterproof and check every wet area before tile.
- Lippage and cracked large-format tile. Big tiles need a flat surface and the right mortar. We check flatness and back-butter where needed.
- Grout that stains or cracks. Rushed grout fails. We respect cure times and seal where the material needs it.

Are you a local Hamilton tile installer, or do you subcontract tiling out?
We're a Hamilton-based tiling contractor and our own tile installers do the work — we don't subcontract tiling out. We travel across Hamilton and the surrounding area for both residential and commercial jobs.
Do you remove old tile before installing new?
Yes. We chip out old tile, thinset and mortar and prep the substrate flat and sound before setting anything new — it's the step that makes the new tile last.
Can you waterproof a shower properly?
Yes. Wet areas get proper waterproofing behind the tile so moisture can't reach the wall. It isn't optional for showers and we never skip it.
What tile can you install?
